Alanna is a sweet and lovable dog looking for a family that she can call her own. Alanna is a 13-year-old Boykin spaniel brought to New York in March from a hoarding situation in South Carolina. She loves to be around her people

and is perfectly content to curl up at your feet – she’s like your shadow and will follow you wherever you go. Her sweet little tail is always moving and her long ears bounce as she prances around after you. She has been around a baby and we think she would do well with older children as well. Alanna gets along with the other female dog in her foster home, especially on long walks around the neighborhood. This sweet girl is crate trained and looking for a family that can provide her with a loving home. She will be having surgery to get spayed and remove a tumor in the coming weeks but that doesn’t slow her down!
