BRANDO, fox terrier mix, came to Peppertree as a local stray. He weighs in at about 8.5 lbs. and we estimate his age as in the neighborhood of 7 years. For such a small dog, he makes no distinction regarding size when he meets another dog. He is friendly and engaging with all the dogs he has met so far, large and small and in-between. His current housemate is a 55 lb. female boxer mix. She too is smitten with this sweet personable little fellow. He has lots of good energy, loves to go for walks. And of course, he loves to cuddle with his people. Brando is crate trained and housebroken. He does not guard food, but he will also feel free to indulge in another dog’s food, so it’s always best to feed pets separately. Brando would make a fine addition to a home looking for a smaller pet or pal for a current dog. We do not know how he would be with cats.
