Camille – Adopted!

  • Lab/GSD mix,
  • female,
  • ~2 years,
  • 54 lbs.

Meet Camille, a silly and lovable GSD/Lab mix. Her favorite things include cuddling with her people, laying on the feet of her people, and spending time with her people – she really is very devoted and loving! Don’t worry, she does great when left alone during the day; but when you and your family are home, she can usually be found wherever her humans are. Camille is a beautiful girl who loves to curl up and be petted. She’s fairly low-key and doesn’t require a lot of redirection in the house, but she is still young and loves to play- it’s a perfect balance according to her foster family! When she is playing with her humans or with her four-legged friends, Camille can be very goofy and energetic. She hasn’t quite figured out how to play catch with a tennis ball, but we are working on it! We are also working on basic commands, including manners and boundaries, which she is picking up quickly. She is great on a leash and often needs only verbal cues to redirect when distracted, but she is a larger dog and is quite strong so she needs a capable handler.

Camille is currently fostered with two older male dogs, a cat, and a five year old child, and does really well fitting into the mix.. She’s great with the dogs and her human foster brother, but she often forgets her size so she needs reminders not to lay on her human foster brother when she wants to play.

Camille is housebroken, crate trained, and rides really well in the car. She would be an excellent addition to any family!
