Emma

Having fostered a few dogs for Peppertree, I don’t know what exactly drew me to Emma (saw her on “Pet Connection”)—but she has been such a great match for me. She is content to be lazy with me; she goes out on her own and seldom wanders; she loves to sprawl out in the sun on my deck; those who walk by the house usually get a tail wag and maybe she will get close enough for a pet. She will bark at any dog and run inside asap. She is most attentive, but fearful of our rabbits and deer. Sometimes she will bark and come inside.
Emma manages to get through scary thunder and fireworks by hiding in my closet or snuggling on my lap. She has her chair, but prefers mine when it is vacant.
So, thank you for my furry friend! She makes my life so much better!
