Onyx LOVES people and has been around kids of all ages. He is full of excitement when he meets people, he is always eager to find new people to pet him. He is house trained and has good house manners.  Onyx is used to having a yard and would love a nice fenced place to play, he does enjoy walks but he has not been on many and is working on his leash manners. Onyx lives with a cat and has learned to be very patient with them, so he would likely do well with a dog savvy cat. And he has also lived with small children and does very well with them. Onyx has not been around many other dogs and seems to be overwhelmed by making new friends so he would likely do best as an only dog, although with a slow introduction he might be ready for a canine friend. Each of these dogs has been evaluated by Peppertree and the descriptions are accurate based on our assessment. (We must note, however, that we do not have the detailed knowledge that we gain about dogs that are actually in the program and in our own foster homes.)
