This handsome fellow was surrendered to a shelter in TN by his former owner. He is a super laid-back, low energy guy just looking for a human to be his best friend. He loves to be near people, snuggling on the couch or bed, but will settle for a dog bed next to you as well. He is great with the female Poodle/Maltese mix in his foster home,wagging and sniffing her. He has had a bath, flu shot, and blood draw and didn’t move a muscle for anything. If that’s not laid-back, we don’t know what is!

Gulliver has been in Peppertree foster care since October 7. He’s crate-trained, housebroken, and does well on the leash. He is working on minor pulling and has improved already! He is definitely all-American and a man’s man! He LOVES his foster dad and even likes a male neighbor that came over to help with some yard work. However, when both of his foster parents are home, he follows his foster mom EVERYWHERE.

Gulliver doesn’t ask for much. He is eager to please and knows how to catch a treat, as well as the following commands: “sit”, “down”, “paw”, “come” and recently learned “side”!
