Meet Hobbit! Hobbit was rescued from terrible conditions in Puerto Rico, but you would never be able to tell – he’s a playful pup looking for love! Hobbit seems to have boundless energy. He loves to chew on squeaky toys and always wants to play. We’re working on chewing only toys, but he will give you a little love nibble every now and then. For this reason, we’re looking for a home with no children under 10 or so who can help him learn to play appropriately. Once the energy does run low, he will curl up and want to cuddle. He walks well on the leash and is house trained. When walking outside, Hobbit does get nervous when he hears loud noises (like a bus driving by or a car door slamming) so be aware of him darting around! Though he can be jumpy at times, he can also be brave and will be vocal when he hears anything suspicious. Hobbit’s a very social dog and loves to interact with other people and dogs. Overall, Hobbit’s a great dog and would be a wonderful addition to anyone’s home!
