Java

  • German Shepherd,
  • female,
  • 8 years,
  • 65 lbs.

Java is a much-loved beauty who found herself in a shelter when her owner lost their housing.

She had been with her family since she was a puppy and is a sweet, sensitive and smart dog whose personality represents everything a German Shepherd should be. Saratoga County Animal Shelter is working hard to find her a home, but she has chronic ear infections and requires on-going care, so finding her the right home is taking time. Java is house trained, loves to take walks, and is social with other dogs. We were told she used to live with cats as well. Peppertree has been trying to find a foster so Java can join our program but in the meantime we wanted to courtesy list her to see if a home can be found sooner. Java is a great dog just looking for the right home, and we know it is out there. If you are interested in Java, please reach out to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter at 518-885-4113. If you have been thinking of fostering and think Java may be the dog to try please reach out to us at Peppertree Rescue – email rescue@peppertree.org or call 518-435-7425.
