The word Kocham means “love” in Polish and it is the perfect name for this enthusiastic boy. When he first arrived, Kocham was underweight and not feeling well, but with some TLC he is gaining weight, relishing life, snuggling and stealing hearts. Around the house Kocham likes to be right next to you to make sure he does not miss anything. Kocham has excellent house manners. He is both housetrained and crate trained and he sleeps through the night. Riding in the car is one of Kocham’s favorite activities, especially since it usually involves going on an exciting walk or hike in the park, he even likes to swim. He gets very excited when he thinks he’s about to be part of an outdoor adventure! Kocham is still fine tuning some behaviors, like meeting people without jumping on them and walking on leash without pulling, but he is a quick learner. Sometimes Kocham can be shy meeting men, but with a little bit of chicken, cheese and time we are hoping he will realize they are just as awesome as the ladies he oh so loves. But any future men in his life have to promise not to be offended if he takes some time to cuddle. Kocham would probably do best in an active home with a female who could slowly introduce him to men and possibly a confident dog to help him along and be his playmate. When it comes to other dogs Kocham has no shyness at all – he loves to play and have fun with every dog he meets. Kocham has never been around cats and we suspect they might be too exciting for him as he loves to run after moving things, but we are happy to do a meet and greet to test our theory.
