Liesel is a sweet, shy girl who needs a home with a securely fenced yard and another dog to reassure her. Petite, charming, and unassuming, she is a wonderful companion.
She still has her puppy enthusiasm when it comes to playtime, and will gladly chase balls outside. She is even starting to bring them back! Liesel also enjoys picking up stuffed animals and carrying them around inside. When she’s done playing, though, she is very happy to snuggle up next to you. Liesel is being fostered with other dogs 5 to 60 lbs and loves everyone. She can often be found cuddling with one of the smaller dogs, or trying to coax her foster siblings to play with her. Liesel has wonderful manners — crate-trained, seems to be housebroken, rides nicely in the car, walks well on leash, and does not jump or counter-surf. A homebody and country girl at heart, she gets along amazingly well with other animals and loves her family, but finds the hustle and bustle that comes with young children and frequent visitors to be a little too much. Ideally, Liesel’s adopter will have experience with shy dogs. She is probably too playful to live with most cats.
