Mali was adopted from a local shelter as a puppy and returned years later, which is how she came to Peppertree Rescue. Mali is a smart girl that can be a bit shy when she first meets you, but quickly warms up and becomes your very best friend. Mali is house trained, has great house manners, and walks very well on leash. Mali has lived her entire life as an only pet in an adult home and that seems to be the kind of life she most enjoys. While she can be social with other dogs and is polite in public she does not have much experience living with other dogs, and does not always understand all the nuances. Her perfect home would be one with a yard for her to enjoy and a person to take her for the occasional walk, the simple life. Mali is too interested in cats to live with them comfortably, and we do not think she would be a match for a home with children.
