Michelangelo, known as Mickey in his foster home, is a very sweet boy who is a serious cuddler. His favorite thing to do is lay against his people and nap. Mickey is blind but that doesn’t stop him from loving life. Once he understands the layout of a house he gets around just fine. Mickey may be blind but there is nothing wrong with his hearing as he can hear his treat bag rustling from the next room. Nothing is cuter than watching him come racing along with tail wagging a mile a minute to get a treat! Mickey adores going on his daily walks as long as it’s not raining and enjoys going for rides in the car. He gets along wonderfully with both cats and dogs. Mickey has good house manners and doesn’t mind being left alone for periods of time as long as he has a dog bed to sleep in. Mickey has had all his teeth removed due to dental disease and has some food allergies as well as a sensitive stomach so needs to be on a grain free high quality canned wet food. He’s doing wonderfully with the food he’s currently on. Due to Mickey’s size and age, we’re looking for a home with only older children over the age of 10. Mickey is truly one of the sweetest and most loving dogs his foster family has ever taken care of. He’s an easy dog to love and he deserves a home to call his own.
