Muñeca – ADOPTED!

  • mix,
  • female,
  • 4-5 years,
  • ~25 lbs.

Muñeca, which means “doll” in Spanish, is a sweet girl. She is a rescue from Puerto Rico, and is shy at first, but will warm up and show her playful, goofy side. Muñeca is crate trained and housebroken. In fact, she is definitely a dog that would rather stay with you in the house instead of going outside. This may be due to the fact that she is from the tropics, and this winter has not been kind. She is more timid around men, and might best be suited for a female-headed household without small children, since this quiet girl does not like a lot of chaos around her. With women, once Muñeca is comfortable she is very affectionate, and will show that she likes you with licks and requests for head and belly rubs. She does not show much interest in interacting with other dogs, so she would be fine as an only dog, or with a canine companion that matches her low-key style. Muñeca has been great around the two cats in her foster home, and they have grown comfortable with her presence.

We hope to find Muñeca a forever home where she can put down roots and blossom into the dog she is meant to be.
