Myra – ADOPTED!

  • Lab mix,
  • female,
  • 9 years,
  • 43 lbs.

As soon as your eyes meet Myra’s, her tail starts wagging! After years of neglect, Myra has so much love to give. She loves to give kisses and will collapse in your lap as soon as she gets some well deserved butt scratches! The more comfortable she gets, the more her personality comes out. Myra is getting more comfortable with toys but is still skeptical of ones that squeak. She is very goofy, jumping on toys and always smiling. Myra is very happy in a shaded, grassy patch after a walk- she loves having enough space to relax and roll around in. For the most part, Myra is easy on the leash, but she does seem to have a prey drive, waiting to chase squirrels and birds. She is very easy in the car and happy to snooze on the couch. Myra does have arthritis but has adapted to using a small set of stairs to hop into bed for nightly snuggles. In the morning, she’s happy to wake you up with kisses and extra belly rubs. Myra is house trained and is free to roam the whole apartment when left alone. She is a big love who deserves a forever home to treat her with the love and attention she deserves! As we get to know Myra better, it seems like she would enjoy a home where she can be the only dog (thus the center of her humans’ attention!) or one with a calm, laid-back dog who will give her some space.

Myra will be spayed at Peppertree’s expense before her adoption is finalized.
