Puffin is a beautiful and extraordinarily sweet 65-pound female lab mix (mostly lab), about 2 years old. She is loving and loyal – full of kisses and hugs, snuggles and wiggles. She is very well behaved — she doesn’t go on furniture unless invited and she doesn’t beg. She wants to please her person, and does a very good job of it! She loves to play, swim and walk, and seems to get along well with other dogs. Unknown about cats. She is housebroken and does well on a leash once she calms down. She is fine when left alone for short periods of time (unknown about long periods of time), but when you get home, she gets very excited and may have a little excitement-accident. But it’s easy to avoid – you just have to take her out right away. She loves being in the car, and can easily be left alone in the car when doing errands (weather permitting). Puffin does exhibit some puppy-like mouthiness, which should be discouraged by her adopters with kind but consistent training.
