Ralphio’s foster tells us that he is one of the sweetest and easygoing dogs ever! He is friendly with all dogs that he has met, although can feel overcome in multi-dogs situations – humans are definitely his favorite! Ralphio was one of a pair of bonded dogs that came to Peppertree when their owner had to go to assisted living. Magda was a hospice situation and has since passed on, leaving Ralphio to carry on, but he is managing the loss well. He has always been a quiet dog who loves his trips outside and naps. He loves to sit with his human, loves belly rubs and all other attention from his people. He recently had a vet visit to confirm arthritis in the back legs; it is being managed with anti-inflammatory meds and Dasuquin. He does have an issue with stairs because of that arthritis. He also has cataracts in both eyes so between the two, he would do best in a home with fewer steps.
