Shasta – ADOPTED!

  • Lab/Golden mix,
  • female,
  • ~1 year,
  • 65 lbs.

Shasta (called Esme in her foster home) is a friendly, sweet and energetic young girl. She is a “Goldador” or Golden Retriever and Labrador Retriever mix. Her coat is a little thicker and longer than a lab’s. She weighs about 65 pounds and is probably fully grown at this point. She is mastering her house training quickly and she is beginning to learn some basic commands. Shasta gets along great with other dogs, cats and kids. and will affectionately follow you around the house everywhere you go. She is never more than five feet away! She doesn’t have any leash skills yet, but she is working on it. Shasta is very timid outside of the home and is getting her bearings over time. Her confidence seems to grow daily, and she just needs to find a family to give her the foundation she needs to continue exploring her world. Shasta’s great personality and sweet temperament are sure to make one lucky family very happy! Because of her shyness, she will need a securely fenced yard and a family with older children.
