Short Stack – ADOPTED!

  • Chihuahua,
  • male,
  • 9 years,
  • 9 lbs.

If you give a pig a pancake, you get a…Short Stack! Short Stack is an adorable, very fat, very short fellow who was recently surrendered because his owners were moving. His favorite hobbies are eating (obviously) and hanging out on the couch, but he also loves to go for slow, short walks. He gets along very well with the other small dogs in his foster home, and even enjoys playing with some of the younger dogs. He would be fine with cats as well. Short Stack’s family reported that he is not a fan of children as they move way too fast for him to keep up with (gentle visiting children would be fine). He does not love big dogs — he seems to be fine with them in public, but they are just way too big to cuddle with him and he does not like couch- or bed-hogs. Short Stack is completely housebroken and has never been destructive. He is not a yapper and he greets visitors with a wagging tail, no ankle-biting from this guy! Short Stack is unfortunately very overweight, so his new family must be committed to continuing his weight loss journey by keeping him on a diet and providing regular exercise (he requests short short walkies…the mailbox is plenty far for him). His foster mom reports that he is already well on his way to becoming a much shorter stack, as long as no one gives him pancakes. 😉
