Tess – ADOPTED!

Tess is a sweet little dog approximately 18 months to 2 years old, about 30 lbs. We believe she is a beagle/border collie cross. She was transported from Kentucky along with her three pups to be rescued and is now with Out of the Pits. They were originally found as strays in Kentucky. Tess has lived with several dogs since coming to New York. Large and small, female and male, and she does well with them all. Tess is housebroken and quiet. She does not need to be crated and is well behaved when loose in the house. Tess has been good with her foster’s grandchildren too. Tess is a bit on the shy side until she feels safe in her surroundings. Her adopter ideally should have a fenced yard, there is enough beagle in Tess to make her a flight risk, traveling after rabbits, squirrels etc. If you are interested in adopting Tess please fill out an application at http://outofthepits.org/adoption/adoption-application-form/
