Meet Trixie, a silly, energetic, and loving All American mix. Trixie is still a puppy at heart so she has lots of puppy energy! She loves belly rubs, long walks, and playing fetch – she even brings the ball back! But after a long puppy day, her favorite thing is snuggling up beside her person. Trixie is very endearing and is truly a people-pleaser, so she is eager to listen and learn. Although she is working very hard on her leash manners and making good progress, she would love someone who is willing to work with her and help her learn.

Trixie is currently fostered with two older male dogs, a cat, and a five year old. She is great with the dogs, her human foster brother, and all of his friends who visit, but she still seems to think cats are for chasing so we would recommend that she go to a forever home that does not have cats.

Trixie is housebroken, crate trained (except for chewing on the occasional crate pad or blanket) and makes an excellent traveling companion as she rides really well in the car, even on longer car trips. And don’t worry, once she arrives at your destination, she’s bound to make lots of new friends!
