Clover came to us from a shelter downstate. She was surrendered by her family after 12 years because they were divorcing. In those 12 years she served as a therapy dog for their son with Aspergers. She is super sweet and very gentle. She is great with other dogs; she has met several at the dog park and is really sweet to our 8 year old maltipoo. Clover’s favorite things are cuddling and going on walks. She runs with the other dogs at the park like a young dog. She does not care for toys, and will do anything for a treat. Since Clover has a history of acute pancreatitis, her treats are either puréed  pumpkin or sweet potato frozen in a kong. She’s on a low-fat diet and eats a prescription food. She’s not a huge fan of being left home alone, and would be happiest with somebody who is home most of the time.
