Golden Retriever Hailey, and Lab Mix Charlie, are social, happy dogs who love being included. They were taken in by Sunshine Golden Retriever Rescue when their human parents in LA died and no one could take them.They are 11 years old and both about 65 lbs. Hailey has a classic Golden personality, and she loves carrying around her stuffed toys. Charlie is Mr. Personality, letting his Foster Mom know with one bark that he is ready for breakfast, and following the resident Golden’s lead in keeping watch over the school bus that stops nearby. Hailey and Charlie love walks around their large yard with the resident Golden or keeping an eye on the family cat. Charlie, with his soft brown eyes and shiny red-brown coat, is just the nicest, most unassuming senior boy you could hope for. Their needs are so simple and they such good, good dogs. Their wish list has just three things—few steps into the house, someone home a good part of the day, and low-calorie cookies readily available. They do not need fencing, training, expensive medicine, or a running partner — just some good company and a nice routine. Hailey and Charlie are spayed/neutered, up to date on their vaccinations, and microchipped. They are being fostered in MA and would love to meet you.
