Ladybird is a sweet, shy, southern girl who has had limited experiences. The world can be scary when you haven’t been out in it very much, but she is learning and having new adventures every day. Ladybird is house trained and has excellent house manners. She loves a comfy spot on the couch. She won’t snuggle until she warms up and knows she can trust you. Ladybird is a pleasure to walk with on leash. She likes other dogs but is mostly into being with her person. She is indifferent to cats. She’ll be a great companion for someone who just wants the company of a dog. Because of her shyness, we’re requiring a securely fenced yard for her. We think Ladybird would be happier in an adult-only home, merely because the activity and noises that generally accompany children would be stressful to her. She could probably deal with visiting children, as long as she has a spot she can retreat to. Ladybird doesn’t like car rides; she is more of a homebody companion dog.
