SWEETHEART, LOVE BUG, ADORABLE – all the words you could use on a Valentine’s Day Card you could use to describe our Louisa. She is a 13 year old Lhasa Apso. She does have Cushing’s disease and has restarted her medicine to keep it under control. Right now she has to drink a lot of water so she wears a diaper, but, she is VERY good about going outside. She has lots of lumps and bumps over her body, but, they don’t seem to bother her. She may not see or hear very well, but, that doesn’t keep her from knowing EXACTLY where her person is so she can snuggle close by. She does the cutest sit up on her back legs with her arms raised for a disarming plea to “pick me up”. Louisa is gentle and approachable with humans and other pets. This sweet girl just needs a soft blanket and a loving person person/family to watch over her.
