Marilou is an approximately 3 year old All American mix who was described as both a lab and a German Short Haired Pointer mix at the shelter because of those lovely feet and chest markings. But that’s where Marilou’s description gets a bit more complicated. Whatever the mix, it was a good one because this girl is just the sweetest dog! She loves people, loves to give kisses, loves to get kisses and just loves everything. She may need a bit of practice with leash walking, she does pull and she’s strong. Marilou was picked up as a stray in Manhattan. Frankly, it’s hard to imagine her people not moving heaven and earth to get her back. She is housebroken, fine in the house, gets upset in the crate but it’s really hard to find a reason why she should be crated. A girl has to be free after all.
