Ruby is a beautiful and playful southern belle. She loves to be outside, and enjoys splashing around in pools. Ruby rides well in the car and has good leash manners. She still needs a little reinforcement with potty training, but is improving daily. She’s very silly and loves to snuggle. She will crawl to you on her stomach if she wants your attention. She can be protective of her person, but is learning how to share with the other dogs and cats. Ruby does like to chase cats, so would need a home with dog-savvy ones, if any, as she will back down and relax if they don’t run from her. She enjoys the company of other dogs as long as they don’t involve themselves too much in her personal space. She prefers a gradual introduction to new dogs, but will warm up to them quickly and loves to play and rough-house once she gets to know them. Ruby is very smart, and picks up on the “do’s and don’ts” of the household quickly and with a little encouragement.
