This handsome older gentleman is looking for a hound-loving forever home. He is calm, quiet, and has good house manners. Astro loves to be outside and rides well in the car. He likes other dogs and would love a dog buddy in the house.

Astro is initially shy with people and it takes a little time for him to trust. Once he trusts you, he enjoys pets and attention, but he doesn’t solicit it. This low-key boy is fine with children, just cautious as they can be loud and boisterous sometimes. There are no cats in his foster home, but he hasn’t shown any interest in them on walks. He is very sweet and gentle. A fenced yard would be preferred.
