Bert is a sweet young dog that loves attention and giving kisses. This handsome boy is house trained and crate trained. He is smart and will do anything for food. New smells and sounds make him nervous, and he has to stop and decide if they are scary or not. It is cute to watch his mind work and when he decides not scary, his tail wags his whole butt and the kisses come out. Bert likes other dogs and children. Cats are unknown. He is still young and jumps and mouths sometimes, so a house with young children isn’t ideal. He is learning what is appropriate to chew on and what’s not. Bert walks well on leash and rides nicely when you get him in the car. He wants to be with his people all of the time and puts himself in the middle of whatever you are doing. He is curious and must know if there is food involved. Bert would like to live with someone with patience and a sense of humor.
