Seeking a petite cuddlebug to be by your side? Look no further! This sweet little peanut is the perfect snuggler and loves to cozy up to her person as much as possible. Berta can initially be timid and shy in new environments, but has come out of her shell so much and will continue to grow her confidence alongside you. Because of this, she would prefer a low energy environment to help her adjust and settle in. She walks wonderfully on leash and does not pull, but prefers to stop and explore her environment on walks. Berta has no problem climbing stairs and loves to follow you around wherever you go. She is potty-trained and is able to be by herself at home while her foster mom is at work or is stepping out for errands. She is very excitable and will plop over for belly rubs whenever you approach her. This little nugget is full of so much love!

Berta currently lives with two kitties and a fellow pup at her foster home. She doesn’t mind them at all, and has tried to play with her doggo sister on more than one occasion. Berta is a wiggly little sweetheart whose tail never stops wagging when she gets pets (or is around her person in general.) She loves to burrow next to you and will happily spend hours lounging in your lap and turning around for some belly scratches. Berta absolutely LOVES chew toys and her perfect day would consist of a cozy blanket, a chew toy and her human giving her lots of pets. Her foster mom’s favorite thing about Berta is how she hops with excitement when she sees her after a work day and showers her foster mom with kisses. Berta does wonderful in the car and is very food motivated.
