Meet Boyd — a gentle, mushy soul who just wants a cozy couch, a nice walk, and someone to love. Boyd can be a little shy at first and may need a few minutes to warm up to new people, but once he does, his affectionate nature shines through. He’s truly one of the snuggliest pups you’ll meet and is happiest curled up next to you after a walk. Boyd firmly believes all weather is “sweater weather.”

Boyd has wonderful house manners and is fully house trained, though he prefers frequent potty breaks. He does great in a crate overnight but doesn’t need one during the day. He enjoys playing with toys, chewing on Nyla bones, and especially loves going for walks—he’s good on a leash and calm by your side. When the day winds down, he’s more than happy to relax on the couch (with the bonus of very quiet, endearing snores).

He’s a good watchdog when someone is home, occasionally growling at noisy winds, but he’s respectful and quiet when left alone and ignores the neighbors. We have no experience with how he would be with children or cats. He’s not a big fan of car rides yet, but with time—and better weather—he’d love to explore fun new places with his person.
