Meet Breck, a sweet, shy southern boy from Louisiana. This handsome guy is a true ladies man…er, dog that is. Don’t let his shy demeanor fool you though, once he locks those big brown eyes on you he’s hooked, and you will be too! Breck loves being outside, chewing bones, playing with his other dog pals, going on drives, napping and snacking, but also cuddling on the couch and binging your favorite shows. He’s truly the best of both worlds, goofball zoomies balanced with Netflix and chill. The key thing is, he just wants YOU to be part of his world.
Breck is learning basic commands like sit/stay and coming when called. He does have his moments of “selective” hearing of course, as he is a young pup, but continues to work on this and is improving every day. Breck currently resides with his 2 older foster dogs and 3 cat siblings. There are frequent dog visitors and he has done great with all of them, big and small. He does have hesitancy with some men, but he’s also been working on that and has slowly realized they too bring great snacks for him. He doesn’t live with any kids, but the few that he has met he has done ok with. Breck has such a sweet personality, he probably will be good with them once he gets to know them.
Breck is still recovering from heartworm treatment and remains on an exercise restriction. When recently interviewed, Breck shares that his perfect home would include lots of bones to chew on, a nice yard, a pup friend or 2, and someone who is home a lot or someone who can bring him along on their daily adventures.
