3 year old – 16 lbs – Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix – Brodie has a lot of energy and wiggles! He likes to zig and zag on walks and sniff EVERYTHING! He is not a lap dog, he is a dog that likes to do things – like chase a frisbee (and not bring it back) or bury his toys. Brodie will bury them in dirt or couch cushions – he is not particular. Brodie knows some basic commands like sit or down, is house trained and used to be crated as a puppy but has not needed one in years. Brodie has been the only dog in an adult home, and would likely do best in a similar setting, although he might be okay in a home with older children – as long as they are okay with bouncy dogs and have the time to work on the jumping. Especially if they have a nice fenced yard for him to play in and burn off his energy. Brodie has some canine friends but he can be a bit picky about them – especially meeting them on leash! Any home with another dog will require a meet and greet to see if they are compatible. Brodie should not live with cats as he thinks they are quite fun to chase.
