A gentle, loving snuggler, he understands how to quietly seek attention in the most adorable and persistent methods. He will do anything for his Lambchop stuffy, cooked chicken and is persistent in his attempts to leave with you in his quest not to be left behind.
Carlton lives with a dog-savvy cat and is reportedly good with other dogs. Although he is fine with children outside the home, he would do best in a home with older children and adults as he is still adjusting to his new life. A home with a secure fence would be helpful while he continues to learn about snow and being cold in the North. Carlton is a very smart, active, loving and affectionate boy who would love all the special one-on-one time he would be willing to devote to his new humans making sure they never feel alone again.
