Shasta (called Esme in her foster home) is a friendly, sweet and energetic young girl. She is a “Goldador” or Golden Retriever and Labrador Retriever mix. Her coat is a little thicker and longer than a lab’s. She weighs about 65 pounds and is probably fully grown at this point. She is mastering her house training quickly and she is beginning to learn some basic commands. Learn More >
Shauna is a beautiful, sweet, shy young lady from the south, where she lived in a kennel situation with her brother and sisters. She hasn’t had a lot of socialization, so everything is new to her. She is pretty shy and skittish. Once she knows and trusts her person, she likes to sit on the couch with them and share a snack. Learn More >
Puddy is a great little dog who just loves being with his people. He will follow you everywhere you go and sit right next to you (if not on you) while on the couch. He lives with a female dog in his foster home, but enjoys being the center of attention, so he would be fine as the only dog in the home. Learn More >
BRANDO, fox terrier mix, came to Peppertree as a local stray. He weighs in at about 8.5 lbs. and we estimate his age as in the neighborhood of 7 years. Norah is a sweet ol’ girl looking for a home to retire! She was living in terrible conditions in Puerto Rico before being found and rescued, and since then, she has been on the road to recovery- she’s a fighter! Harmony is an adorable young dog who also happens to be a very good snuggler! She loves the car and is not anxious at all when riding. She appears to be mostly house trained, and usually asks to go out. Harmony is very friendly and usually gets along other dogs, though a meet and greet would be necessary before placing her in a home with one. Learn More >
Carly is a dog who loves her people and time on the couch with her family. She also enjoys taking walks, although she can get over-excited and want to chase squirrels, and bark at other dogs, and ohhhh a car!!!
