Charlie Bear

  • Malti-Poo,
  • male,
  • 9 years,
  • 24 lbs.

Charlie is a go with the flow kind of guy who is in need of a home because a diagnosis of diabetes left a family member unable to care for him. He is 24 lbs of love (although the vet would like to see him a few pounds slimmer), is neutered and house broken, and understands and obeys basic commands. Because of his diabetes he needs consistent vetsulin injections and regular exercise – so someone who likes to walk is a must! Charlie has a habit of barking in his sleep, which is adorable but makes it hard for apartment dwellers and light sleepers. Charlie does great with other dogs and children. Charlie can thrive in homes of any energy level. He loves to play, nap and cuddle. He is most comfortable laying flat on his back with his legs in the air (silly goof!) and bounces to the door to greet you when you come home.
