At 12 years old, Chiquita is all about taking time and enjoying her golden years; meandering leisurely around the house and curling up in one of the many doggy beds (and blankets… a warm security blanket is a MUST for her!) that are available to her in her foster home. Shy in personality and sweet as the fruit she is named for, Chiquita does love physical affection, and will be your best friend if you stroke her back or give her butt scratches. She will climb up on you and paw your chest gently, almost smiling in the process. She would much rather take a nap than play fetch.

Chiquita is housebroken, but when she has to go, she has to go, and does need to be monitored closely as she can only “hold it” for so long.

She is mostly indifferent to the small dog she is roommates with, and we believe she would do best in an adult-only home due to her age and size. Cats unknown but we suspect she would be fine with them.
