If we had to sum up Churro’s motto in one sentence, it would be — play hard, snuggle harder. This snack-sized pup is always game for a walk or — his favorite — chasing his foster siblings around the yard. Snow? No problem! Give him a sweater and Churro readily keeps up with much larger dogs even in chilly temperatures. He loves chasing and carrying around a ball, but hasn’t learned to bring it back for fetch just yet. He’s all puppy in attitude!
After playtime, Churro very happily settles on the couch — as long as he can be snuggled up in your lap. He’s still convinced that one of these days, he’ll manage to burrow inside his person for maximum snuggles. In the meantime, he’s content to cuddle under a blanket or in your jacket. Churro is willing to settle in a dog bed, but only if laps are truly unavailable. He feels similarly about car rides — doesn’t mind the ride, but was displeased to learn that he has to ride in a car seat rather than the driver’s lap!
Churro is housebroken and doing well with crate training. His wish list for a forever home includes a fenced yard, one or more canine companions, and someone who is home more often than not. No small children please — Churro feels very strongly that he should be the baby of the family. We think he could be convinced to share his home with a cat, particularly if they’ll play with him.
