Clark Kent – Adopted!

  • Lab mix,
  • male,
  • 1-2 years,
  • 48 lbs.

Clark Kent is a splendid black lab mix, from his floppy, spotted tongue to the tip of his furry tail. He is playful, sweet, and loves people and other dogs. Clark is housebroken and crate trained, and learning to sit and walk calmly on a leash. He loves car rides and walks, but his real affection is reserved for soft and squeaky toys. As a good watch dog, he will bark once or twice when he sees someone approach his house or yard, but is friendly with visitors. Clark has a medium to high activity level during the day but given adequate exercise, loves to chill out once evening comes – he is a great snuggler on the couch! He enjoys chewing on his toys, digging out hot dogs from his kong, and doing the patented Labrador lean on his humans. With Clark’s interest in squirrels and rabbits, we think a house without cats or other small pets would be best. As a young former stray who probably never lived in a house, he can get worked up and mouthy at times, so a family of adults or older children that can continue to patiently and consistently work on his social graces would be the perfect fit. Clark loves other dogs, but since he was recently treated for heartworm, he will need a mellow dog friend in his pack for at least the next four months.
