Dayna is a sweet, lovable companion who enjoys meeting new people and new dogs. She is very playful with children, adults, and friendly dogs, big and small. Dayna loves attention, so she would be a great addition to a family that spends time at home. In the evenings, she enjoys some couch time as you watch your favorite TV show. Dayna is about 15 months old and a medium-energy dog. She enjoys morning and evening walks but also loves nap time. To keep her busy, we recommend a steady supply of durable chew toys — she has learned that shoes are off limits.

She loves being outdoors — whether basking in the sun or keeping you company while you do yard work. For this reason, she would be happiest in a home with a fenced yard. She always does her business outside and comes in when called. She is very content in her crate at night and prefers this space for siestas during the day. She has a shortened radius bone in her front left leg that causes her mild discomfort. This condition doesn’t slow her down though — as she can sprint and go up and down stairs with relative ease. She happily takes an anti-inflammatory pill once a day.

Dayna is a pleasure to be with and is so full of love — she melts into your arms and will give you and yours endless affection to show her appreciation. We believe that she would easily transition to a new family. She is much too interested in cats to live with one.
