Elmer is an affectionate little senior searching for his forever lap(s).  His absolute favorite thing is being on a lap – cuddling, kissing, getting pets and belly rubs, and of course napping.  Give him a gentle cuddle and he’ll cuddle back by resting his head against you.

Elmer’s second favorite thing is food. Every meal, he will do repeated happy spins waiting for his dish to be served.  And he sits pretty for snacks without being asked.

Elmer loves going for walks and walks well on leash.  He insists everyone we meet on walks pet him.  Elmer is mostly house broken, with the occasional bed wetting overnight.  He is good with other dogs unless they want to share a lap with him, so a little lap management is required.  Cats and kids unknown.  Given his small size, we prefer he be placed in a home without younger children.
