Frodo is a friendly and mellow dude who came north looking for a loving home. Both his southern and northern foster families say Frodo is one of their favorite foster dogs ever! He loves any kind of attention including scratches and snuggles. Frodo is great in the car, fully housetrained, crate trained, and knows “sit”, “shake” and “speak” already. He’s named “Frodo” due to his amazing (and rare) bright blue eyes! He’s sweet (even gives kisses), well-behaved, and gets along with both dogs and cats.

Frodo was treated for heartworms and needs to be kept quiet for several weeks. After that, he’ll be ready for fun and adventure! He loves the water, walks, and playing with balls and squeaky toys. Frodo is not neutered yet, but it is planned for early 2023 after recovery from heartworm treatment, and will be done at Peppertree’s expense. Frodo hasn’t been around children while with his fosters, but we predict Frodo will be a great family dog.
