This is Gwen- a 2 YO female lab that was surrendered from an aggravated cruelty case. Gwen is your typical happy-go-lucky, eager to please Lab. She has been labeled an easy learner and has retained basic command. She is not a fan of going in a kennel- but is something we work on daily with her. She strives on long walks and runs- and absolutely loves attention. She is good in a car and does not have accidents in her kennel- Sometimes she does get excited to see you and while you are putting her leash on- if you aren’t quick enough she will have a little accident. She has been noted as dog reactive- some dogs while on walks she will react to, while others can walk right by. She does show signs of a prey drive with smaller animals out on walks as if she wants to chase the squirrels etc.- so we are saying NO cats. Because of her level of energy and her tendency to jump when she is excited we would recommend a home without small children, and her dog reactivity we are recommending a home without other dogs, unless the adopters were experienced. She has a stomach sensitivity, and the only food we have found that works for her is a salmon fish based food. She is spayed, all up to date on all vaccines, and has a life time microchip.
