Indy – adopted!

Indy is a sweet yellow lab mix who was found as a stray in South Carolina. She is housebroken, walks well on a leash, and rides in the car politely. She loves walks in the park and meeting new people and dogs. Cats are unknown, although she responded in a friendly way, with tail wagging, when she saw some cats in the pet store behind glass. She does show interest in ridding her yard of squirrels and chipmunks, however, so being attentive to her while on leash is a must.

She’s a medium energy, affectionate young dog who loves to give kisses and play with soft, squeaky toys. After dinner, she wants to cuddle in on the couch, and if you don’t mind a bit of snoring, she makes for an excellent lounge buddy. Indy likes to follow her humans around but has learned to settle down in her crate at night if they are close by.

Indy was recently treated for heartworm and will be on restricted exercise for another 6 weeks.
