What can we say about Johnny Rose? Like his namesake, he’s a bit awkward but always well-intentioned! Johnny had a very small world before coming to Peppertree, so he’s still learning about how to “dog,” but he greets each new experience with enthusiasm (and a little bit of suspicion — easily soothed by cheese). He has done well interacting with other dogs in his foster home and while he’s still cautious about new people, he’s very affectionate and playful with his foster mom. He’s not sure what all the toys are for, but he loves to jump around and play bow! Sometimes his excitement gets the best of him and he can’t resist “woofing” at you just to make sure you see him.
Johnny enjoys running around a fenced yard, but his favorite thing is going for walks, so a fence is not necessarily required. Car rides are still a little scary for him so he’ll need more practice with that. Johnny is doing well on housebreaking and does not need to be crated! He has no experience with children and will do best in a quiet, adult-only home with just one or two people. Cats are unknown.
