Kolby is a sweet young boy who recently came to us from a local shelter. We think he may have gotten those long legs from Fred Astaire, but we’re really not sure.

When we first met him, Kolby was pretty fearful. He had been surrendered to a local shelter along with his sister who was his self-appointed guardian. With some yummy treats and lots of affection, Kolby managed to shake off that fear and now knows he is safe, and that humans are good; they give treats, pets, hugs and cuddles. Still shy at first, after some kind pets and maybe a treat, he’ll be your best buddy. He also likes other dogs and recently made friends with some other Chihuahuas and a Shepherd. He just turned 1 year old so he has many adventures to look forward to, and he’ll be so happy to come back to a loving home for some hugs, kisses and cuddles. These are his “super powers”.

Kolby has amazed his foster mom with his willingness to be house trained, is just about there and will now happily take his business outside knowing that a tasty treat awaits him when he’s done. We imagine he will need to be reminded of the this once Kolby has settled in his forever home.

Kolby would be best suited to a home with older children, or adult only home.
