Kona is a 1-2 year old, 50 lb spayed female who recently came from a shelter in Georgia. She has a very soft, glossy brindle short hair coat. She would love for you to pet her all day, but also is happy to snuggle in a warm bed and blanket in her crate. Kona is housetrained and has easily learned our household routine. She knows sit, stay, paw, lie down and drops her tennis balls before being asked to. She sits at the door before coming inside and will sit and wait for you to put her food bowl down. Kona enjoys pushing the treat ball around and having the kibble fall out. She takes treats gently and will learn anything for cheese. She would be great with school age children and is happy to lay with them all day while they school from home. She is friendly with other people and dogs on walks. She would be ok living with other calm dogs and is also ok as an only dog. She cannot live with cats! She would love a fenced in yard or someone who is going to walk her two times a day.
