Mallory is a healthy, happy, and sweet 1 year old young girl who firmly believes her name is Baby Girl or Princess, definitely not Mallory! Her favorite things include super affectionate hugs from her people, snuggles on the couch with belly rubs, and quick, snoring naps next to her people. Above all else (except maybe treats), Mallory loves her trusted people fiercely and isn’t afraid to show it! She is a stray from Louisiana who still sees the world as filled with new experiences but is resilient and a very intelligent girl as she meets each adventure. When she’s feeling comfortable, she is all puppy but responds quickly to consistent training and expectations with love and treats. Her favorites include: following her person from room to room (don’t stop quick, I’ll be right there waiting to help you!), bully sticks, thoroughly checking the kitchen floor, lots of playtime and sniffing everything and everyone to be sure there are no crumbs left behind. Mallory doesn’t mind letting you know when someone is at the door or entering the yard and may be unsure when she first meets them, but if they bring treats, she will permit them to win over her stomach and heart! Mallory lives with an older dog and dog-savvy cat whom she enjoys but would be just as happy as an only beloved girl. She would be best suited to a home with teens and adults with a secure physical fence (she loves her zoomies and squirrels) to help her get a daily dose of super fast imaginary herding. A family committed to training with consistency, bottomless treats and evening snuggles will help Mallory become the loving and joyful family member you’ve been waiting for. Don’t forget to help her find a forever name, too!
