Ah, Moira Rose, our delightful eccentric. Moira loves her people and shows it by throwing herself at your feet with her classic toothy smile. She can’t help the way it looks! Moira had a very small world before coming to Peppertree, so she’s still learning about how to “dog.” She has done well meeting and interacting with other dogs in her foster home and while she’s still cautious about new people, she’s affectionate and goofy with her foster mom. Given the chance, she will follow you everywhere! She’s not sure what toys are for yet but does enjoy chewing on bones and cow ears.
Moira is learning to enjoy walks on leash, but would probably do best with a secure physical fence for now until she learns that the world is safe to explore. Car rides are still very scary for her. Moira is doing great with housebreaking and does not need to be crated! She has no experience with children and will do best in a quiet, adult-only home with just one or two people. Cats are unknown.
