Peanut Butter – ADOPTED!

  • Dachshund,
  • male,
  • 3 years,
  • 20 lbs.

Peanut Butter came to Peppertree from the Saratoga County Animal Shelter. He’s an extremely happy dog that will bounce around the house and has no problem settling down on a bed or in his crate. Peanut gets along very well with the resident dog in his foster home. He loves to lay next to her and put his head on her when relaxing. We feel that Peanut Butter will be happiest with a canine companion and would like to see him placed in a home with another dog. With people, Peanut Butter is very affectionate and loves to snuggle. He gives some warning barks when people enter the home but calms down straight after. When we bend down to pet Peanut, he sits up in the “beg” position and puts both front paws around your arm to “hold hands” and gazes at you with his soft sweet eyes. Peanut Butter would love a home with older children. We have not observed him around cats yet.
