Time for a nap? Rodger that! This easy-going pup has an old soul and is wise beyond his years. Unlike many dogs his age, he understands the value of a nap on the couch, a peaceful walk, and sunbathing on the porch. While he enjoys a walk as much as anyone else, what Rodger really wants is your company! He has no interest in peeing on your rug or dragging you down the street. He can often be found next to his foster mom, begging for some chin scratches. Rodger gets along with the other dogs in his foster home and loves to play chase in a fenced yard, but we think he would be equally delighted to be spoiled as an only child in a quiet home. Especially if you have a fenced yard and squirrels for him to chase! Did we mention he’s a perfect gentleman on leash though? He is also completely housebroken, crate trained, and rides beautifully in the car. Dog ownership doesn’t get easier than this. If you’re looking for a “steady Eddie” companion, Rodger is your guy!
